Kanjorski Snubbed NAACP and East Stroudsburg Over Flyer

In the ultimate display of pathiological narcissm Paul Kanjorski ingored a meeting with the students of East Stroudsburg Univeristy as well as memebers of the Monroe County NAACP chapter. According to a press release from the Barletta camp "Months ago, the Monroe County Chapter of the NAACP invited both candidates to debate. Mayor Barletta accepted. Mr. Kanjorski strung the organizers along for weeks until finally declining. Then at the last minute, Paul Kanjorski said he will come to the event, but he will not debate Lou Barletta – even though they will both be at the same location at the same time. Instead, Mr. Kanjorski would only appear if there was no debate and he did not have to take the stage with Lou Barletta."

According to sources close to the Pocono Record Kanjorski felt slighted because his picture wasn't in a flyer promoting the event. Of course that information takes us back to the preceding paragraph. He was on, then he was off, then he was on.

From the Pocono Record- (NAACP Chapter President) [Byrd says there is a simple explanation for why the original event promotional material included Barletta’s picture but not Kanjorski’s. Byrd said at the time the original flyer was produced, Kanjorski said he wouldn’t be there.

“There were two flyers,” Byrd said. “After the first flyer, they said, ‘Oh yes, we’re coming.’ Then we changed it.”

Kanjorski changed his mind again Wednesday, cancelling his appearance at ESU in favor of attending two events for Obama workers. The Obama events, also attended by Sen. Bob Casey, D-Pa., wasn’t made known to Kanjorski until Wednesday morning, Benson said.]

It was reported in the Pocono Record a day earlier that [Kanjorski campaign spokesman Joe Werner called Kanjorski's appearance Wednesday a "soft yes" subject to changing Congressional schedules.] I don't know about you but I Googled "soft yes" and the only thing I could find was a review of Rossignol Soft 1 ski boots. The rating was appropriate though- Soft Yes, lacks performance.

The forum was free to the public. That might really be why Kanjorski didn't show up. He only talks to people who pay him to listen like the National Association of Realtors PAC, the Credit Unions Legislative Action Committee, oh what the heck if you want to read them all click here. Of course a complete disclosure would be remiss if I did not include the Citizen For Action Committee PAC contributions. Gentlemen start your engines Mr. Mattioli is in the house. Did anyone bother to tell him Kanjo will be leaving the House?

Remember Paul Kanjorski does not apologize to anyone.
