Update on Addie Polk

Fannie Mae is forgiving the mortgage debt of 90-year old Addie Polk who shot herself in the chest as sheriff's deputies attempted to evict her. Fannie Mae bought Addie's mortgage from bank(cro)rupt Countrywide Financial last June and proceeded to foreclose on Addie.

Fannie Mae's CEO received a 7% pay increase to $13.4 million while the company posted $2.1 billion in losses in 2007. He had nothing to worry about. Paul Kanjorski and his cronies came to the rescue. Way to go Paulie, you just so generous with our money. After all "it is free money."
