I may not have agreed with everything what Kevin said. But he always had a valid point.

He trampled on more the 1st amendment more times than pi taken out to its final decimal point. If he didn't like what you said he exercised his perogative to cancel your call, all the while spewing his false "facts". I will protect your right to talk against me. I will never protect anyone who refuses to hear what I say.

I will miss him!!!! Provocative, intelligent discourse from the left!!

I liked Kevin. I think he was very smart. If you think he was so opinionated then you should be fair and get rid of Sue Henry. No body is more one sided then she is.
I look forward to the day she leaves.
He knew when to get rid of some rude callers which I think he did the right thing when a point was not getting across.

I liked Kevin Lynn. Very smart. He was no more harsh in his opinions the Sue Henry. At times she comes off worse then he did.

Great WILK, bring in a goofy classic rock DJ to talk politics and current events and get rid of someone who was actually intelligent and courageous enough to give an honest opinion. I guess they want to chase away the intellectual democratic audience, and bring in the "Pied Piper Republicans." Between Sue Henry, Rush Limbaugh, and Corbett(I just love to cause a controversy), WILK is turning into FOX News Wilkes-Barre. Yes "limp noodle" Nancy Kman, the so called Democrat is still there. She reminds me of the token Democrat on Fox News with Hannity, Alan Colmes. Hopefully another local station will pick up the best local talent and start a new morning show.

I can't believe that WILK has shafted the Best voice in talk radio. Although I didn't agree with everything he spoke about, for the most part I did. I looked forward to the show Mon-Fri every morning and will miss it very much. Nothing against Nancey Kman, but Kevin was the life of the show. When Nancey was sick and out for some time, and when she was just off for that day, Kevin carried the program. Shame on you WILK for turning away the true voice of the Wyoming Valley. If you agree with me,, send me some feedback,,, mjl3109@aim.com. thank You

Terrible decision by Nancy and WILK. According to Webster, Nancy was the one that contacted him in January about this position. I don't mind Nancy, but like him or hate him, Kevin was the one that made the show interesting and was the reason a majority of the people listened.

I hate to tell WILK, but other than the first week, Webster isn't going to bring the hard core Rock 107 rock n roll crowd with him.

Hey Kevin, REALLY!!! REALLY!!! You don't get it, do you? Like you said to so many callers when they had a differing opinion, GOODBYE! GOODBYE!

Ha, Kevin, is that you above me? Looks like he wrote himself a comment here...

I could not stand the arrogant rants and the rude behaviour of this radio host, so I stopped listening. And the constant Obama praises were beyond what I could accept.

I know Lynn is quite smart, he is not dumb, but he really is not bearable in his attitude.

Sad thing is, he was a fellow pagan, and he might have put us all (us pagans) in a bad light with his behaviour.

Thank God SMARTER minds prevailed
at WILK and terminated the notorious Kevin Lynn. I listened to him for the past 3 years and I am convienced he is mentally deranged. I dont wish anyone the bad fortune of losing their job but Kevin pushed his luck just a little to far. Wise up Kevin and start loving your country or go live someplace else. Michael Savage is right. "Liberalism is a mental disorder" and Kevin Lynn is the poster child for it.

I'm so upset about this. I mean I think most of us loved to hate him. He is whom made the show. I mean Nancy is very smart but at the same time boring. I just remember on more than once occasion,Nancy pushed Kevin open the mean door of his. I guess that is why she still has the job and he doesn't. Brought out the pharse, "took one for the team"

Glad he's gone. He can't seem to cut it anywhere. What a dolt. Very ill tempered and rude not to mention, not very bright. Not well informed on the issues either. That always annoyed me. Good luck, Kevin. Hope you find something else, but please do us all a favor and stay off the "air"

Boy I guess Kevin has a lot of free time. For someone who derided the blogs, he keeps posting positive comments about himself all over the blogs...

McGruff said...

Ill tempered yes, not well informed, I don't support that statement. Kevin is very smart but very smug at the same time. One thing is for sure. He will pop up again. He has a talent for getting your blood to boil, just like marriage I guess.

SINCE KEVIN HAS BEEN GONE THAT SHOW IS UNILSTENABLE.GOOD JOB NANCY

Thank God they got rid of that blowhard!!

If WILK's interest is in having listeners I was one they lost very shortly after they put this irritating man on. For me it was like putting my hand on a hot stove. My FM is tuned to WILK but if by accident I turned your station on in the morning I could not stand to listen to him more than about 10 seconds.

Thank GOD! Someone here said he was a "pagan", well that would explain the bug he had up his backside with the Christian religion. I quite listening to that show years ago. Good riddence.

seems to me nancy stabbed him in the back

Obamanomics claims its most ardent supporter as its latest victim. Oh the irony.

sweet!

now all they have to do is get rid of corbett, and i just might start listening to wilk again...

This show is as predicted now.. Extremely boring. It's not interesting, not really funny, not entertaining.. It's just... There... Bring back Kevin!!

Love the new show. Positive, upbeat. No more loudness and rudeness in the morning. Kevin seems to have posted a lot on this site. He was not well thought of by anyone in the media business.

Tried to listen, Webster's "nasally" voice is just too much to take with nothing legitimate to say comming out is why I am done. Cant wait till Kevin Lynn is back on the air on another station!

Anonymous said...

If you agreed or disagreed you wanted to listen to hear if the caller was given their just due. Granted, Kevin was over the top on some occasions but that was his opinion as well as his job. Too bad his almighty EGO got in the way of his intelligence!

Anonymous said...

Kevin Lynn is a big jackass.

Anonymous said...

Like him or not Kevin Lynn was intelligent and thought provoking. He carried that show!

Unknown said...

Way to slant entirely to the right, WILK. Kevin Lynn was the last voice of intelligence on that radio station. He may have been ill-tempered, but he ALWAYS had facts to back up his views. If you don't think so, you wren't listening.

Now... the show SUCKS. Nacy is the only progressive voice, and much like Alan Colmes all she does is get ganged up on by the callers and the other hosts. And also like Alan Colmes, she has neither the knowledge or the personality to ever win an argument. Then again, maybe that's what WILK intended (ala Faux News).

if someone disagreed with Kevin, even in a very polite manner he yelled over them while they were trying to explain their side or made smart ass remarks...take your 2 left wings and fly away.

Anonymous said...

Months after the fact that Kevin's gone, all Wilk has to show for it is generic intros to their news, weather, and sports, not to forget tin foil nonsense, Friday beer buzz, what a breath of stale air! It may have been time for a change but the WRONG LIBERAL got replaced!

Anonymous said...

Although I disagreed with him 90% of the time, he was the one you loved to hate, making the show a bit more edgy then the current format. Webster fortunately has been a bit of a surprise and I still do listen and enjoy. Kevin a total left wing "stoner", (Why else would he go to Jamaica evrey year? To play tennis? You know I am right Kevin.) made me yell at the radio much more often than I do now. Not sure if that is a good thing or not at 7:00 in the morning. One comment that he made should have gotten him canned much sooner, Nancy too....They both questioned the parental ability of someone making minimum wage. What an insult to so many here in N.E. Pa. Young and Old. I would have fired them both for that one. I guess I should have written in sooner!

Well NEPA, just goes to show you love to hate. Looking back on Kevin I realized you people are getting exactly what you deserve by supporting ditto-heads both in media and in government.

Federal and State governments are doing exactly what Kevin predicted, except he didn't think Obama would go along so quietly I suspect... They are systematically dismantling all social nets that allow the poor to survive, while spending trillions to bailout big bankers and select corporate fatcats. You people are so blind and stupid I think you will get what you give- hatred and suffering. At least Kevin Lynn had the guts to point it out to you. (And, no I'm not Kevin, just a listener who didn't always agree btw).

Lynn was arrogant, obnocious and condescending. When he was on a WVIA forum he made a fool out of himself and WILK and I think that was the last straw. The new show is a breath of fresh air. I came back.
