Since Governor Rendell proposed legalizing video poker to fund financial aid for colleges students one has to wonder whether he will expunge the record of former Attorney General Ernest Preate. Preate was disciplined Februrary 1, 1999 for admitting to mail fraud in connection with accepting donations from illegal video poker operators. Usually politicians propose ideas to take care of their donors at some point.
